What a good Papa he is . . .

Morgan and our sweet grandbabies are here visiting for a week. You can just imagine how excited we were to see them. We just can't seem to get enough of these sweet little girls. Sadly I had to work today but Don surprised Morgan and the girls by getting off work early and coming home to take the girls to the splash pad. He is such a good grandpa. He even took photo's with his phone and sent them to me (he has learned well) And with the ease of MEMORY MIXER I can scrapbook photo's and document memories in about 10 minutes. I love it !!! Lot's more memories to be made this week.

Milagros arrived at the mission home . . .

What a beautiful day this is, Milagros arrived at the mission home in Nuequen, Argentina and is ready to enter the mission field. If you have not followed our story, here is the short version.
Dylan and Elder David Biliter taught Milagros the gospel while serving in Peru.
She was baptized on October 8, 2011.

She is an amazing young woman with an incredible love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has just entered the mission field and is serving in the Argentina Neuquen Mission.
I love to see the fruits of sharing the gospel and how it has blessed so many lives.

Relief Society Board Retreat

What an awesome time we had. We got to stay at the Baird's home which is one of the historic pioneer homes in Snowflake, AZ. We ate really good food. Spent a wonderful evening at the Snowflake, Temple. Got spoiled with a bag of fabulous beauty products. Planned some wonderful activities for the sisters of the Mountain view Ward. Toured the Stinson Musuem and learned a lot about the history of the pioneers settling Snowflake, AZ. We ate at two quaint and yummy restaurants - Eva's Mexican Food and Celebrations.  We shared, we cried, we laughed and we truly just enjoyed
 our time together. What a wonderful weekend spent with wonderful sisters.

It's begining to look alot like Christmas

Well my mind has been spinning with lot's of Christmas projects. The list's are long and the funds are low and so it is time to get creative. I love making homemade gifts - I just need to find the time to create. So I am scheduling craft nights with friends and hoping that will help me to get it all done.

I got this super cute digital kit from LATTER DAY CHATTER
one of my favorite go to sites for digital art

This is a layout of my cute nephews that I just came across from Christmas 2 years ago that I don't have in an album yet. How quick and easy and fun is this!!!!

Look at this cute kit
 I downloaded it and used the images with my MEMORY MIXER digital software

You can use it with whatever digital software you use

2.2.12

So today Janna and I drove home from California. It is always nice to get one last night when the trade show is over so we are driving home late at night dead tired. We had a nice peaceful drive (I guess I shouldn't be talking - Janna drove the whole way - I think I may have dozed off a few times) She dropped me off at Don's office as we rolled into town and then Don and I headed to the hospital to visit his dad. I was so happy to see him doing to much better. What a relief. I think the Italian in him makes him a little to stubborn to miss Tina's wedding on March 10th. He's a fighter. Then I made it home to feed the family and catch up with my kids and hop on the computer for the Mixin Mania Crop from my friends at Memory Mixer. They are so fun and they help me to get at least one page done every week.

Morgan sent me this picture of Delainie while I was at CHA and I knew I couldn't wait to get home to scrap it. So I made it onto the facebook page with about 8 minutes to spare and joined them for their online class.
Here is what I created (In about 15 minutes) I will get it printed from Costco to add to Delainie's album.

Now my house is quite and I think I will catch up on a few emails and head to bed in my big comfy bed !!!

Wedding Announcements

So I just finished creating my sister-in-laws wedding invites and I must say I love them. If I could sit at my computer and create fun photo things all day and get paid lot's of money I would be so happy. But I am not so lucky, so I will just have to enjoy this super fun hobby.

Day 20

Today I am thankful for Memory Mixer. Truly a software program that changed the way I preserve memories. I am still a paper & glue scrapper. But I have learned that it is okay to do both. Memory mixer allows me to document my memories instantly.
I love it !!!! And I use it almost daily !!!!

4th of July

Even though we were few in numbers compared to the usual size, we had a great time. We never have to fight parking or crowds on the 4th of July. My brother lives near a park that has an amazing fireworks show every year. So we get to enjoy an amazing show from the comfort of his backyard.

gotta love Memory Mixer. Memories are documented and printed and in my album

{Just some fun Digi Layouts}

I had fun playing with Memory Mixer this week and teaching how to bring in other Digital Content (these layouts I have used the GLITZ designs digital CD) for use in Memory Mixer. So easy, so quick and so fun. And these kids are growing so fast we need to be sure we are taking the time to capture all these moments.

This picture was actually take November 07 when my friend Kit got tickets for me to take my girls to the Donny Osmond Concert. I know the layout says 08 - I just noticed. Maybe that is a reminder that I should take my girls to Vegas to see Donny and Marie. They are there right now.

{Better Days}

So since Morgan seemed to do being a little better, I decided that a good distraction from her foot/leg would be to pick up our cute little kiddos for the afternoon. It was perfect - she played with them for hours and was completely distracted from her leg. The baby is getting so big - he loved to play ball. Anything that had to do with a ball would keep him happy. Gotta love my MEMORY MIXER. I am going with that all philosophy that I used to balk at "simple is done". Uploaded my photos this morning, stuck them on a page, added some journaling and waaa laaa - I will call it done - happy day !!!!!
So I am home today (car is in the shop) and so I am kinda stranded (it's kinda nice) and I am working on my classes (should be cleaning my house, but you know how that goes) Anywhoo - have a fabulous day.
